I have experience working with script writing, video production, print and broadcast in a fast paced environment. I graduated in May of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts journalism degree at Michigan State University, with a specialization in Political Science. Throughout my school years I have had newspaper experience, a sports reporter internship and helped with ESPN College Game day. Upon graduating, I acquired a job as a general assignments reporter at the Southwest News-Herald newspaper in Chicago. I then packed up and moved from Chicago to become a reporter at The Villages Daily Sun. With my newspaper and broadcasting experience, I have had the opportunity to answer telephones, cover a range of stories and even produce my own stories. I would bring the same strong work ethic and passion for reporting to my job. I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead of me and my career as a journalist.
