Writer in Surprise, Arizona

Writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. In grade school, I was the student writing stories upon stories on sheets of notebook paper. Due to the world-wide pandemic, I am taking this opportunity to chase my dream career. As you will see below, most of my experience is related to finance. Any time I was given the opportunity to develop my writing skills, I was thrilled! I learned how to find a new joy in the passion of writing. Responsibilities included writing business emails, letter and metric updates to various levels of management. I was also asked to write supplement training materials. Most of my skills were honed during customer-facing positions. These include clear communication with different people, de-escalation and compromising to find the best solution. I’m eager to share these skills I have learned and apply them in freelance work. I have provided examples in my portfolio. This includes business, essay and creative writing examples.
