Writer in Jacksonville, Florida

I am looking for an outlet for my creativity that allows for furthering my writing skills. Writing has always been of interest to me and I would like to eventually progress to writing a work of fiction. I also have interest in writing children’s books aimed at building a child’s self-esteem. I have experience writing content for blogs and online magazines related to the food industry. The focus of the articles being healthy diet, special needs diets, food industry trends, food politics, recipes, cooking hacks and general food knowledge. As a reader myself, I tend to lend more credence to what I have read as opposed to merely having heard about. The written word is tangible and “authentic” in the mind. It can be re-read and studied, re-visited for clarification and does not change according to the speaker. I am open to writing about many subjects and not at all remiss in educating myself to write legitimate and meaningful content. My prose is casual and entertaining but professional. My vocabulary and grasp of language is superb.
