Writer in Van Nuys, California

Some of my most recent work has appeared in, among other places, the New York Times, BBC Travel, LA Weekly, and Atlas Obscura. In my former position as editor and PR manager of the now-defunct travel website, VirtualTourist..... (then part of the TripAdvisor Media Group), I wrote regular, internationally syndicated columns for Reuters News Service, United Press International (UPI), and Tribune Media. My travel writing from these columns has appeared on CNNgo....., LATimes....., Forbes....., BostonGlobe....., MSNBC....., ABCNews..... more television news programs than I was able to keep track of, and even on the home page of Yahoo..... (an event that generated so much traffic it shut our site down for a while). Additionally, I was also writer and editor for the company’s guidebooks to Paris and Montreal and was responsible for securing Virtual Tourist’s regular appearances on and pre-producing the company’s travel information segments for the Today show. Until recently deciding to freelance full time, I was editor for travel website, Trippy....., where I wrote the company's columns for Huffington Post and Yahoo! Travel.
