Kingston Trinder is a nonfiction author, publisher and screenwriter. A former advertising creative director, he has authored innumerable articles, a novel, Milk Tooth (2012), two biographies (2024 publication scheduled), and contributed to several fine art monographs: Old Glory (2016), Chromatic Reflection (2016), An Atlas of Rare & Familiar Colour (2017), Who is Michael Jang? (2019), John Cage: A Mycological Foray (2020), Talk Soon (2021), and Thor Heyerdahl: Voyages of the Sun (2022). Kingston is presently developing several screenplays, documentary series, and nonfiction works. His first film, The Two, written and directed with Peter Gerard, releases in 2024. Kingston is the recipient of numerous literary awards, creative fellowships (including Fabrica) and writers’ residencies, and holds a graduate degree in cultural anthropology (Material & Visual Culture) from UCL. He is represented by Morwenna Loughman of The BKS Agency. Kingston is now available for freelance commissions.
