Writer in Easton, Massachusetts

I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Film Production from Emerson College. Throughout my time in Emerson’s Department of Visual and Media Arts I focused primarily on scriptwriting and graduated with a 3.4 GPA. I have excellent workshopping skills and have completed a number of scripts including multiple shorts, sketches, spec scripts, and one feature length. In my spare time I perform stand-up comedy at various venues throughout Boston/New England. From September - December 2016 I worked as an intern at a Warner Bros. production company in Burbank, CA where I spent my days reading scripts and providing coverage for my superiors. For the past three years I have worked as a server in some of Boston's busiest locations, including Faneuil Hall and Newbury Street. I have developed important communication skills from continuous engagement with customers, as well as great organizational skills as a result of managing multiple demands at one time. I have the capability of remaining poised and professional in a fast-paced industry and work well in an active setting. I am hoping to find any sort of job that allows me to hone my skills as a writer, whether it be grant writing, research writing, or content writing. I am an incredibly hard worker with a positive attitude. I have the capability of adapting quickly to new and unique environments and am always excited to learn new skills.
