Writer in Mount Dora, Florida

As the oldest of seven children, I knows how to engage and grasp their full attention. Although, I am only eighteen years of age, I have come a long way down the writing path. I have written some of my own books but, they wont get published. Yet not because they aren't intriguing but, because no one, now of days wants to publish an 18 year old's writing. I have been through so much with an imagination as deep as the Grand Canyon. Many of my teachers have asked where I had gotten my strategies from when writing, in which, I received them from my eighth grade teacher. I moved from Chicago, Ill to Orlando, Fl in two days when I was thirteen. Wasn't expecting it, it just happened, It's what my mother felt was best for our family. Therefore, when I started to attend Carver Middle School for the eighth grade, I didn't know anyone and Ms. Olowhu taught me to get through to the class with my writing. One day we had to read our essays in front of the class and I was terrified, but I knew my essay was going to be fine because I've never had to worry about my writing specifically. I was just worried about everyone looking at me. It's funny because when actually writing my essay I was imagining myself reading it in front of everyone. The title was " Looking at me!" maybe, If I am hired, you will be able to hear more about it.
