My name is Mary Lee, and I am an aspiring writer. I love to create stories that evoke a certain message and emotion. Whatever I create, I put my heart and history into every fiber of it. I want to create works that connect with people, take them to a place that is, perhaps, a bit or even extremely vulnerable, stripping away all the superficial elements until I've brought them down to their bare bone. I want my creations to invite observers to look within themselves, and look deep into those corners that they've avoided or tried to hide, and take them by the hand and bring them on a journey where each step expresses that, in those places, and in that vulnerability, they are most especially loved, cherished, and valued beyond price. I want my creations to expose the places they are hurting most, and kiss them, and help them open the door to healing and the joy that follows. I want my creations to present observers with raw truth and portray it's intrinsic beauty. More than all this, I want my creations to direct observers eyes towards the loving gaze of Christ, wherein lies the truth of all they are, and the dreams of the original Creator for His beloved creations. I want them to see that and fall in love; not with my creations, but with the Creator Himself, and the journey He invites them into and leads them through unto eternity. Through my work, I want them to come to know that He's been there all along, and that He loves them unconditionally, and that they will never have to face anything alone ever again.
