Writer in Knoxville, Tennessee

As a former collegiate athlete and current sports fanatic, I feel as if I would be an excellent candidate to join any sports writing staff. I started playing both football and basketball as a kid in Knoxville, Tennessee, excelling at the high school level in both sports. I became a three year letterman in each and, by my senior year, was an All-State performer in football. In addition to athletic achievement, I was selected as sports editor for my school's newspaper and oversaw all articles pertaining to athletics. I went on to play football for one year at Hargrave Military Academy, where I competed against and played with future NFL draft picks Leonard Floyd, Shaq Lawson, Cordrea Tankersly, and Dion Dawkins on a daily basis. After that, I played three years of football at Sewanee: the University of the South, earning significant playing time in each of those years. I graduated college in May of 2017 with a degree in business and psychology and have been an avid fan and follower of both college and professional football/basketball as well as European soccer since my playing career came to a close. I hope that I can be of service to any staff that takes me on and I look forward to doing what I love, talking about sports.
