Writer Job in Newport Beach, California

Looking for an experienced college essay editor who works well with high school seniors and their parents. Must be able to help students throughout the entire writing process including brainstorming topics, outlining and editing until a final draft is reached. Editors must help students to find their own voice. They must also be available to get the work completed quickly and often times at the last minute. Prefer someone with a graduate degree in English or a related subject. Ideal candidate will have experience helping students to edit BOARDING SCHOOL, COLLEGE AND GRADUATE SCHOOL ESSAYS. it is not enough to be a strong writer, the person for this job will understand the college admissions process and what selective and ivy league colleges are looking for in a candidate for admission. May work from home via Skype, although sometimes you may have to go to the student's home or work in my office in Corona del Mar. College admission season lasts from July-January. This job is available immediately. You will be considered an independent contractor.
