Writer in Portland, Oregon

Well, school is starting, the weather is thinking about changing to that familiar, comforting drizzle, I'm drinking my coffee hot again, sweaters and scarves are resurfacing in wardrobes, and I am kind of bored. I graduated from Washington State University in 2011 with a BA in English Literature, which has naturally led to a slew of opportunities for professional financial success... just kidding. But it has trained me to interpret life, events, and all forms of writing with an analytical eye and creative curiosity. I've been able to pick up odd jobs from Portland to a Grecian island to Turkey to Italy to California that have all added greatly to my life, but little to my wallet. But that was the point! I've wandered, and in that wandering, my ability to interpret sights and sounds through writing has been incredibly useful. For now, the wandering has slowed down, and I'm attempting to put my skills to good use in this place as well. So here I am, college students, professionals, aspiring creative writers, and anyone who wants a second opinion on their written work! I have vast experience editing scholastic documents (proficient with MLA, I dabble in APA), technical and legal pieces, creative writing, important things, unimportant things... and I love being involved in the writing process as well: writing structure, creative conceptualization, research tactics etc. If you are interested in my help with whatever writing you are working on, please contact me and we can chat!
