Writer in Houston, Texas

The ideal position for me would include creative, real estate, oil and gas or technology-driven articles, papers, or speeches that I can research and write from home. Having worked in the fast-paced oil and gas industry for many years, I am deadline driven. Much of my work involved responding to media inquiries that had to be fully vetted legally and meet the deadlines imposed by newspapers, television and radio networks as well as Internet entities. Other responsibilities included publishing an internal weekly newsletter, a monthly employee magazine, and a quarterly company project-related magazine designed for marketing purposes In addition, I have served on numerous boards, including the Texas Public Relations Association, the Press Club of Houston, the San Jacinto Council of the Girls Scouts of America, and on the Board of Trustees for the Houston-area American Leadership Forum, of which I am a senior fellow.
