I'm a creative writer with experience in short stories, novels, blogs, social media content, creative direction, editing and copywriting. I'm the short story editor for an online crime noir magazine called Near To The Knuckle where I accept or decline short story submissions daily — I edit and publish two stories a week. Along with each story, I create an image that aligns with the theme and I write a tagline / lead-in when posting to the magazine's social media channels. Along with these responsibilities, I manage the website and the social media channels. Near To The Knuckle also publishes print novels, novellas and anthologies — occasionally, I review a print publication about to be released and promote it through the magazines social media channels. I communicate with authors daily and on occasion will help a new author with a piece they are trying to publish. I have an extensive background in web design and development, technical support with Mac OSX, Photoshop and WordPress. I'm comfortable with tight deadlines and quick editing turnaround times. I'm positive, outgoing, proficient and goal oriented. I take criticism well and work with high proficiency in a team environment. I'm interested in fiction, technology, popular culture, fitness, surfing, snowboarding, fly fishing and travel.
