Writer in Edmonds, Washington

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest/ Occupied Coast Salish Territories. I have learned to write through being pressed through the education system all the way to the University of Washington's Comparative History of Ideas program. I can write for a very wide variety of purposes but much of my personal interests and strengths are in the realms of independent media, academic papers, fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, and historical), non-fiction (history, encyclopedia articles etc) and blogging. Lately I have been focused a lot on themes of gentrification, police brutality, Israel/Palestine, politics in Latin America, drug war, addiction and ways of addressing it.
