Writer in Le Sud-Ouest, Quebec

I began writing short stories as a child as a way to express my creativity. An avid reader, I first attempted to write novels between the ages of 8 and 10. Growing up, I wrote songs, poetry, fanfiction, stories. As an adult, I attended college taking a Creative Arts program during which I wrote my first screenplay for a Filmmaking course. Today, I am an undergraduate student at Concordia University in Montreal majoring in Indigenous Studies and minoring in Religions and Cultures. I have regularly achieved a position on the Dean's List for my excellent scholarly essays. Moreover, I have multiple years of experience doing translation work for commercial and family businesses. Writing is a part of my identity -- if I can get paid for that, all the better!
