I'm an
Individual
I provide screenwriting content & consultation, tailored to the required medium (specializing in, but not limited to: feature film, television, video game screenwriting), short & long form narrative content & consultation, character design & worldbuilding consultation, concept development, et al. I am also highly proficient in spec writing (i.e., comfortable in existing worlds/franchises/canon). Please note that I am primarily a creative writer, not a copyeditor, script coverage writer, analyst, etc. (however, I am quite capable in these and other related skillsets). A bit about the guy with the pen: I started writing fiction in earnest in 2002, placing in the quarterfinals of the Writers of the Future Contest with one of my first short stories. After years of studying fiction writing, I was bitten by the screenwriting bug, and now dance between the two as the muse wills. I am a 2009 graduate of Asbury University (B.A. in Media Communication with Film Emphasis - Screenwriting & Cinematography), a Student Production Emmy Award-winning screenwriter, independent video game developer (Lead Writer, Narrative & Gameplay Designer), and insufferable übergeek. My bread and butter is Speculative Fiction (Science Fiction & Fantasy), but I'm also comfortable in other genres, so long as they are entertaining, thrilling, and populated by interesting, relatable characters. I have a passion for immersive storytelling, character-driven narrative, and boxless ideating. I pace when I think, think aloud, dream often, and write as well as I can at any given time. I have learned and grown as a creative writer over the past 17 years, and continue to do so, constantly. If you're looking for a screenwriter, fiction writer, story consultant, nerdy sounding board, or just someone who can glance at a project and offer a few helpful ideas to break out of the corner you've written yourself into, please don't hesitate to contact me.
