Writer in Hazel Green, Wisconsin

I am a 2011 college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with Creative Writing Emphasis from Luther College. I have experience writing and editing for campus newspaper, CHIPS, and also as an associate news editor and photographer for Decorah Newspaper. Am currently working in an industry not necessarily writing/journalism/publication and located in the Midwest (Wisconsin/Iowa/Illinois Tri-State area) but have a strong gravitation towards the San Francisco Bay/Half Moon Bay Area and atmosphere. After having gained and continue to gain real world experience after college, I feel I am beginning to really mature as a writer and find my voice as one. Wanting to continue on this path of self fulfillment out of my true enjoyment in life, I am being bold enough as to seek out any excuse to write. Even to the extent of writing for free and remotely. All I ask for any type of compensation is to be able to take credit for any published writing that I may submit. I would be willing to write about just about any topic and feel my location in the Midwest and life here could be a very interesting perspective for certain readerships and publications in the San Francisco Bay Area.
