Writer in Boone, North Carolina

I was writing before I knew how to write. My mom dictated books for me when I was four. I worked as a professional blog writer for a medical malpractice lawyer for four years. At nineteen, I self-published a novel called, The Mad and Mindless Mind of Willa Jean. This book is about a boy in college learning to love himself. More recently, my short story, Cigarettes, was published in a magazine called, The Peel. I am most proud of winning an Award of Excellence from the Broadcasters Education Association for my original, 60-page pilot, Accepted. I am passionate about storytelling, and I want to turn it into a career. I believe my professional and creative writing experience prove that I am a hard worker and dedicated to developing my craft.
