Writer in San Antonio, Texas

My name is Allison and I am a writer interested in teaming up with a start-up or establishment in need of a fresh eye, or word. I graduated from TCU with a BS in psychology and a minor in theatre. I worked in a memory and cognition lab where my writing consisted of research analysis and some unpublished experimental method research papers. Post-graduation I threw myself in a variety of jobs including freelance writing for a medical magazine, curator for a start-up social media company and social media editor for a large-scale retail company in Austin. In the latter job I trained content curators, planned and executed a social media strategy that enhanced brand awareness that connected us powerfully to the community. I am interested in research, medical and creative writing. However I am open and intrigued by any type of project. My experience has serendipitously led me to a state of mind with writing, which is indefinitely greater than the sum of its parts.
