Writer in Bakersfield, California

Been writing for leisure and pay for several years now but my current projects have been going well enough to now be in a state of limbo where all I can do now is wait. Not wanting to grow dull headed I'm wanting to expand out into new fields ranging from love letters to odd-ball articles needing that special touch gained from a professional writer's eye. Have always been of the idea that if more people had a writer in their lives things would be better for a lot of folks out there. Writing is equal to air, water, and food for me, and I know I've chosen to write over eating at times so that keeps it firmly planted in my way of life. I love talking to people and reaching a point where they can't express themselves as they want to, which is where a few words of my own given out has helped. The crushing weight of not being able to express a sorrow or joy as you want is part of the crippling experience we undergo through our life, and if you can find someone to help put things as they are into something as concrete as words that's an amazing thing to have at your fingertips. And if I can help with that then all I can say is thanks for taking the time to let someone be involved in your life. It's an amazing privilege to be asked, and I'm confident I can help with whatever it is that ales you; be it a simple article about seasonal migrations or something that cuts deeper into our day to day life. Wanting to find out what manner of things are important to people in the world. My thoughts deliver me to conclude that if people are willing to pay someone to write on a subject then it must carry some weight of significance to them, and what more could a writer ask for than to write about the circumstances that are integral to someone's life. Hoping to learn a lot about people and grow as a writer with my words having an impact beyond being stuck on my own computer or looked through by an editor.
