Writer in Decatur, Georgia

Writing music has been something I've been doing since I was 11 years old. My want to write science fiction stories fueled that fire to write songs once I got into the hip hop music. I used what I learned from my language arts class to help me construct great lyrics. I make sure that all my lyrics have good sentence structure and are on topic with the hook/chorus. I can write almost any genre of music, but my main genres are Hip Hop and R&B. Listening to a lot of hip-hop and R&B and also participating in choir classes in school and in church taught me a lot. Like using the right tone to grab the attention of the audience, different tones can sound wonderful in unison, and paying attention to my instructors taught me how to teach someone else how to sing a particular type of music. I'm not the best singer but I've written songs for people to sing. I am the best rapper but I'm also able to make someone else sound that great too. I'm familiar with a studio setting being that I build a studio in a shed in my backyard that have power ran through it. A friend brought me a mixing board and I bought a microphone. During that time I wrote lyrics for a lot of people that could have made it if they kept trying. Now I'm trying to use my talent for my own benefit I feel like it's my time to shine.
