Writer Job in Bridgeport, Connecticut

Our client, a small chemical manufacturing company in the Bridgeport area, is looking for a top notch technical writer for a short term (6-12 month) project assisting in the development of their company standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical writing for the manufacturing (not IT) sector and be experience with both quality as well as ISO. A background in managing similar type projects and coordinating a diverse team of managers with no direct supervisory responsibility will be KEY component in getting this role. Also important is a background in industrial manufacturing and optimally the chemical industry. If your quality background is substantial, this role could lead into a full or part time position down the road as the company may be adding on to its QA functions in the plant. Though certainly not required for this contract role.
