Hi there. I like to say I'm a hybrid: I have an academic background (a PhD in English), but I am also a freelance and creative writer. I've written everything from the text for editorial cartoons to poems about stars, and published hundreds of pieces. My fiction, poetry, and nonfiction have all won awards. I most often focus on these areas, because of my background and training): education literature the Pacific Northwest bodywork (massage, martial arts, etc.) dogs kids (both about kids and for kids: I write chidren's books)
