Writer in Austin, Texas

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. And professionally for...well, let's just say over a decade [eventually pride gives way to vanity and I only mention years of my life that are absolutely needed]. Luckily, my experience has added a richness to my writing that no amount of inspiration can supplant. Oddly enough, my muses have become more active the older I get. I write a blog [www.....com], operate a self-built website for my songs and videos [http://....com] and teach beginning guitar/music. In the past I have done extensive traveling for pleasure and while playing cover and my original music. I am not unfamiliar with the police as well as lawyers [being the son of a lawyer and the brother of a legal secretary]. My scholastic background taught me how to be a good observer [B.A. in Psychology & M.A. in Testing and Diagnosis] and this has served me well in recording the events in my life, mentally, so I could draw upon them later for a writing project. In fact, many times I find myself in the role of "Mr. Spock", just observing the crazy behavior going on and not getting "plugged in" so I can write about it later.
