I'm "one of those people." I enjoy researching and writing and have my bachelors degree in nursing and a masters degree in public service administration. As a 45-year-old wife, ex-wife, mom, stepmom, nurse, real estate agent, and writer, I have a lot to say. Still, if needed, I am very good at stating the facts only without any influence of my own opinion. On the DISC profile, I'm a strong C which means I'm very analytical and to the point. However, being a trauma nurse and running a trauma program within a hospital has given me quite the sarcastic sense of humor at times. I love to write about anything including e-books and articles from the perspective of a nurse, blog posts regarding the emotional journeys of any mom or stepmom, parenting advice and stories, real estate trends, top ten lists on any given topic, and pretty much any topic that comes to mind for the day. I am also very skilled in writing procedural manuals and descriptive "how to's." While on a mission trip in Myanmar in 2012, I lost vision in one of my eyes and was diagnosed in with multiple sclerosis. The long shifts at the hospital wore on me. So, I now make my own schedule as a real estate agent. It has proven to be an excellent transition. I still work with people who I feel I can help make one of the most significant decisions in their lives. People say I'm too nice to be a realtor, I say other agents aren't nice enough. My goal in life is to raise respectful and open-minded children (the youngest are 18-year-old twins), never look back and feel as though I missed an opportunity to help someone else, and yet pursue the things in life that drive me to get up every morning until the day that I breathe my last breath. Writing is a big part of my journey.
