Autobiographical statement for 2017 This should just about cover things. I am profane, yet polite. I curse, but open doors and help lil old ladies across busy streets. I am complex like that. A favorite hobby is to rant and rave against the corrupt and indignant. Been writing since before I developed facial hair, and now I am an MFA candidate, working on making the circle complete. I like my bass ale cold, my friends intellectual, my wine cheap, my books complex and my music loud and random. Prejudice and Ignorance anger me...closed-mindedness makes my skin crawl. I am a proud independent Social liberal, fiscal centrist Son, brother, worthy cousin, neighbor, friend, husband, uncle, co-worker, navy veteran, and slayer of dragons ( both real and imagined.) Gentle soul with fierce convictions. Defiantly opinionated, liberal thinker Independent thinker standing out in a sea of mindless lemmings and spineless sycophants. (I do live in the Washington DC Metro Area…sorry!) Sickening optimist, cynical realist Finder of lost souls, philosopher, poet, madman, saint, ebony prince, cold-blooded word mercenary, and wanna-be drummer. I seek out opportunities where my words can make YOU look good. I am not as interested in the fame or fortune of a thing, but I am dedicated to the TRUTH of a thing. Give me a task, and we can create magic. I can write political commentary, or discuss professional football. You hire me, and we get the job done, as we entertain and educate the masses!
