My name is Jesse Sokolow, and I am an avid and voracious writer. On top of working as an editor for Accura Media Group, creating and editing articles for all of its publications and subsidiaries, for the past six years, I spend much of my free time working on personal project, including novels, short stories, and poetry. Most recently, I was hired to ghostwrite a book for the author and Jungian scholar Radmila Moacanin, and the work is currently awaiting publication. I spent countless hours researching Islam, Carl Jung, and psychology (with a large focus on the psychology and teachings of Carl Jung), familiarizing myself with material that I had, at that point, no previous dealings with or knowledge of. All of this culminated in the completion of the book, Jung and Islam: Paths to the Soul, which, again, is awaiting publication, as it was just finished in December. Although none of my personal novels or short stories have been published as of yet, I am excited to see this one brought to fruition, and I am eagerly looking for my next challenge in the writing/editing/publishing world. My experience as an editor for the past six years, as well as completing the scholarly book and all of the accompanying research by the set date have helped me become very good with working under pressure and meeting deadlines. I am an extremely hard worker, focused, and determined to the point of stubbornness – if I set my mind to something, there is nothing that I will let get in the way of that. Some may say stubbornness is a flaw – here, the word and the way I would use it to describe myself and my tenacity is a pro. I look forward to my next job, and as I know it is not within me to disappoint myself, I know that I will not disappoint whomsoever I have the pleasure of working with or for in the future.
