Thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Ana and I have loved writing ever since I wrote my first "book" back in elementary school. My book was about dinosaurs bringing havoc in a town on Halloween and it all had been saved by a child and becoming their friend by giving them candy. Thinking back to it, I find it amazing how a little kid like myself could make something out of nothing. It all just took some imagination, a paper, and a pen and that is what I love about writing. It is one of the activities that does not require expensive equipment to do and it is still relaxing and fun (at least when there is no deadline hahaha!) My experience with writing continued to high school where my friends and I joined a program where we wrote and shot our own short film and music videos. The film, if I remember correctly, was about a student getting bullied and finally fed up with it, so he trains hard and in the end he defeats his bully with a rubber band. It sounds silly, but because writing can truly be anything, this was able to be possible. I love writing because it is limitless and one can let themselves be free with their thoughts. After high school, I took on a college course of creative writing. With the help of my professor and classmates, I was able to share my love of writing and was encouraged to share my stories and gain confidence with my own writing. During the course, my professor loved one of my short stories and it led to it being published on the college's annual literary arts magazine along with many other writers. It was the first time I ever shared my writing with others and it has left a great memory in my life. Because of this, I want to help others achieve their goals and be part of the journey of something they will be proud of.
