Writer Job in Indio, California

The Renaissance House program for writers will begin on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 6:00PM at The Bermuda Palms Mobile Estates, 80870 Highway 111, Indio, Ca 92201. The program which originated in 2001 on Martha's Vineyard, Mass. is open to the public and FREE of charge to residents of Bermuda Palms Mobile Estates, Californians and visitors. It is funded by The Helene Johnson and Dorothy West Foundation For Artists In Need. Writers on every level are welcome. Free refreshments will be served. The truncated program offers a half hour of silent writing in one room which is followed by those writers hearing their works read out loud by other writers,then discussed and then read out loud by the author. Writers can read whatever works they choose, they can re-write manuscripts or create new ones.
