Writer in Springfield, Missouri

I went back to college at age 37. I majored in Technical Writing while pursuing a minor in Creative Writing. I was carrying a 4.0 excel for the foreign language requirements for my minor-- I was clunking those. So my academic adviser says: "Try Screenwriting as a minor.. There's no foreign language classes. I took her advice. Six months later, I landed my option contract. I have four screenplays under option and I have worked on an emmy-winning web series. Character development is my strength and I love working with new people.
