Calling Actors, Directors, Designers, Producers, Stage Crew etc, Fall Membership Drive continues - Eclectic Company Theatre MEMBERS SOUGHT FOR VALLEY VILLAGE'S OWN ECLECTIC COMPANY THEATRE. PRODUCE YOUR PASSION PROJECTS OR JUST GO FOR THE RIDE! Interested applicants should email a headshot and resume and a short paragraph about what he/she is looking for in a theatre company and why he/she would make a great member. All submissions for part two of our Member Drive must be in by November 6, 2014 What makes ECT different and unique? The members decide what is produced! This gives artists the chance to create their own vision from start to finish! And if you need help, we are the same as family and we are here to support each other! And we are a group of professionally trained and professionally working theatre-empassioned folk. And we also are rebuilding our film division at this time so there are more opportunities to learn and practice our craft in more ways. Those selected will receive an appointment to audition. Auditions will be held on November 9th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Applicants should email show contact info right away before spots fill up. Selected interviewees will be contacted with an audition/interview time. Do not reply to this Craigslist post, use the email instead. Actors should bring in at least 2 copies of their headshots/resumes. Actor auditions will consist of either A) A prepared, memorized scene and monologue. or B) Two contrasting Monologues You may or may not be asked to perform both. The time limit for both pieces is 5 minutes. Actors who choose to do a scene may perform with an additional scene partner, of his or her choosing. This partner may be a current company member or an outside actor, who will also have the opportunity to audition as well if so. Chairs will be made available with advance notice. Directly after the audition, there will be a brief interview with the ECT membership panel. Those who are interested in membership as a producer, director, designer or stage manager (but not as an actor) will be expected to bring in 2 copies of a current resume and a portfolio, if applicable, and will be interviewed on the audition date. ECT is a dues-paying membership company, a collaborative effort to run the theatre ourselves. Monthly dues are $50 with five hours of monthly volunteer hours, BUT if you do ten hours of volunteer hours each month, your dues for the next month are cut in h alf. $25, which is, like, nothin'!
