Writer Job in Richmond, Virginia

Looking for local writers to write for an up-and-coming, Richmond-based website about some of their favorite bands that either live or tour often in Richmond. The short articles you will write (2-3 paragraphs) will serve to introduce various bands to an audience that has never heard, or heard very little, about them. If accepted for the job, I will go over the structure of the articles in greater detail. Applicants must be well versed in musical jargon and have thorough knowledge of the local Richmond music scene. If accepted, you will be responsible for submitting 3-5 articles a week, depending on your availability. This position is unpaid, but impress me and you will be offered paid assignments. To apply, send two writing samples, preferably music-related, along with a list of five Richmond-based or Richmond "famous" bands that you would like to introduce to the website. (Bigger bands are a priority but writing about smaller bands is definitely okay.)
