Job Description: The Technical Writer will be developing clear written materials to support various clients with technical documentation, policies, training materials, procedures and manuals. Responsibilities: • Interviews technical staff to collect product information and specifications. • Collects and organizes technical information and product images, and coordinates layout for publication. • Establishes and adheres to terminology, style and editorial quality standards. • Supporting all activities required by existing clients and those supports from projects lead or co-lead by the CEO or her designee. • Assist in ensuring that the company meets contractual agreements and responsibilities with different parties including clients, management, project team, vendors, and other stakeholders • Assist in development, adherence and management of contract agreements. • Identify, anticipate and document issues and risks and provide mitigation recommendations to ensure timely action is taken and any risks to achieving contractual obligations are mitigated. • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to clients and/or other third-parties. • Coordinate projects with the client and project team. Personal Characteristics • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a problem-solving environment that is non-standardized and broadly and generally defined. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret governing documents, requirements, common technical journals/articles, financial reports, and legal documents. • Is proactive, and is self-motivated. • Be a great communicator (verbally and written). Education and Qualifications: • BA/BS in computer-related field or English related field and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the security or IT field required. • Possess advanced IT technical experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and must be technically able to hit the ground running in most any back office environment. • Demonstrated skills in technical writing, verbal communication, problem analysis and resolution.
