Dear writers, here is a great opportunity for practice and exposure! My name is Tea Ida-Nayeli and I am creating an African American empowerment magazine. I am looking for men and women of any age to submit their works for the test run of my magazine. Details below. WRITERS Writers may submit up to three pieces of literary work. The forms that will be accepted include poetry, written speeches, essays, and journal entries/short memoirs. Your work should be directly related to the African American race. This can include the race itself, its history, struggles, accomplishments, thoughts, etc. Each piece should be half a page minimum and three pages maximum. Please read *Each work will be credited to the writer who created it. *Spots are limited and not everyone's work will be accepted. *If your submission is chosen you will need to sign a consent form stating that I have permission to use your work in the magazine only. *Each submission should be the work of the one who submits it. Please do not submit work that does not belong to you. *This is an unpaid job. However, it is a great opportunity for exposure. *February 28, 2017 is the final day for submissions *March 17, 2017 you will be notified on whether or not your submission has been accepted.
