I am considering trying to publish a manuscript for a book about aviation. What I would like to do is create a book proposal for an editing company/publishing company and one day make some money off of the book. With the help of a skilled technical writer, I think the book has good potential. The subject matter is highly technical, but I'd like the book to be aimed at the lay (but not too lay) reader. I actually don't like writing all that much. Nonetheless, I've written a 100-page manuscript, though it is a bit disorganized. Compensation would be fraction of the profits if the book gets published, up to 50% depending on the qualifications of the editor/collaborator. I'm looking for a good technical writer with an understanding of physics or science in general and experience writing book proposals. If you happen to be a pilot that'll help, mostly because you'll be interested in the subject matter. The next step is to create a book proposal that'll get us in with a publishing company.
