People invite me to their parties because they know I can talk to anyone, about anything, and sound like I know what I am talking about! Sometimes I feel like Frank Abagnale, Jr. ("Catch Me If You Can' character played by Leonardo DiCaprio). Give me a subject, any subject. If I don't know a great deal about it in, a short time I will sound like an expert. My life has had so many unique chapters, (of which I have no regrets about any of them), that has allowed me to be the person I am today. I can write about anything, I was born and raised in the Midwest, had an alcoholic father, lived in near poverty conditions, went to college, joined the Army, became a nurse, drove 3000 miles on the back of a motorcycle, got stuck in an abusive relationship, built my own furniture, owned an Art gallery, had a brother die of AIDs, traveled the world, had dinner with a King and with poor gypsies, fell in love a number of times, had a in-law, raised children, invented a chemical formulation, filed for patents, searched my roots, made money and lost money, grew weed, drank too much, gambled too much, gained weight, lost weight, became a delegate to the state level, mended broken hearts, cried on shoulders, held the hand of my mother as she took her last breath, and discovered that there are more good people in the world than bad. I can write about anything. Some of my projects have included being the editor of the Chamber of Commerce newspaper in Garden Grove California, various websites, many instructions for the hobby craft industry, and a small mountain of editorials and short stories seen only by my eyes.
