I am a grant writer, researcher, administrator who has written grant proposals for just about every non-profit and for-profit you can think of. I have written grants that were awarded federal, state, corporate and private foundation monies. When I am writing a government grant I like to work backwards because they give you the rubric so many times if you already have an idea of what you want to say it makes sense to start with the rubric and make sure you get all your points right from the start.
