Writer in Jacksonville, Florida

I have been a writer my whole life, have English and Social Work degrees from Miami University in Oxford Ohio, and worked as an instructor and social worker upon graduation before getting into marketing and advertising. I worked for advertising agencies for 10 years before starting and running my own advertising/marketing/design firm in Chicago for 15 years. Simultaneously, I founded and ran two non-profit organizations: Just Cause, which raised money for cancer research for The Robert Lurie Cancer Center in Chicago, and a dog rescue organization whereby we rescued, cared for, and placed 2,700 homeless dogs from high- shelters across the US into loving homes.
