Hello My name is Tadi Abedje and I am 24 years old, applying for a position to write for RantSports. Sports is my number one passion since I was a kid. I love sports because I have fun watching it and enjoying the competition. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in journalism. My previous experience consists of being an intern at an International Broadcasting Company called the Voice of America from June to October 2017. I learned how producers direct the shows up close, directed a show called South Sudan in Focus, recorded voices and worked on promos. Previously, I interned there or the past three summers doing sports reporting. I wrote sports reports with my supervisor, Sonny Young, and broadcasted them live on the radio and recorded my voicing packages and knowing how to edit them. I had another internship at an online blogging website called Sportalk. I wrote blogs about the NBA Playoffs, NBA Finals, NBA Draft, NBA Awards Shows, Los Angeles Lakers Summer League games, Player Transactions, and NFL Power Rankings about the AFC East. What it did for me was that it prepared me of what working in journalism is. My skills that I bring to the table are my ability to do research on a particular topic, my knowledge about a subject like sports; getting things done before deadlines, and structuring my priorities.
