Writer in Voorhees, New Jersey

I've been writing my entire life. For as long as I can remember, nothing has excited me more than a blank page and the endless possibilities that it presented to me. That simple piece of paper could be the vessel for a new story, a new poem or even a review of someone else's work that held great importance to me. With that in mind I went to college to study English and Journalism, and under the tutelage of excellent professors and journalists working in the field I was able to hone my skills. I wrote fiction, news articles, poetry, and just about anything else you can imagine - even obituaries. I could always find something interesting to write about. Over the years, the job market waned and I found myself in several sales roles leaving the writing for my free time, where it stayed as a way for me to express myself personally, not thinking I could make any money with it. However, the words of one of my managers stuck with me: If you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life. That's exactly how I feel about writing, so I'm putting myself out there once again.
