Writer in San Mateo, California

I am a semi prolific writer with 5 books ready to. My problem has always been the upe-ecelon of the publishing industry: Random House, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins , Macmillian, etc., never deal with authors. they only deal with 'Agents'; and agents always have a full house; and all of them are published authors that the agents are sure of...no new (unknown, unpublished, next award winner allowed. So the only avenue open to an aspiring writer is eBook, on-line publishers, or self publishing. My first writing glimmer of greatness, was a story that I wrote to go along with a piano player roll in late grade school. From there is was a random climb up threw high school talent shows, college theses' and the radio sales copy, on air promotions, then to websites and literature. Usually everything I write garners praise (or at least admiration). all this over a50yr span.
