Writer in Knoxville, Tennessee

I am a 32 year old mother of a 6 year old child. I haven't worked a "real" job in 3 years as I chose to stay home to fulfill my motherly duties. However, he is now settled into (and thriving in) his own little kindergarten world and I can't think of a single, solitary thing left in my house to paint, organize or re-arrange. I feel it's time for me to add a few more words underneath Momma on the "about me" section of my life. As of right now, I'm just exploring my options and discovering which hobbies and talents I even still possess. I ran across an ad hiring for a freelance writer and since I've always been good with words and have an insatiable appetite for learning. I'm one or those weirdos that thinks research is actually fun, watches ph.D's give 6 hour lectures for entertainment and uses words most of my friends have never even heard of in my 4 page response to their 3 word abbreviated texts. I've never published a work nor do I have professional experience to offer. I have been given instead- a brilliant mind, extensive vocabulary and a wellspring of ideas that make me more than capable to produce quality content, If given the chance.
