Writer in Riverside, California

My name is Joe Blackwolf aka Joe E. Wails R&B Vocalist and Songwriter. I am currently working on my debut album titled "Life....is my profession". I have written and recorded numerous songs over the past decade or so, was in a vocal group (Boy Band to be honest,) in early 2000 that was shelved by our production company and label that was executive produced primarily by Micayle Mckinney. I have since been writing and recording a solo debut project that is a mixture of R&B/Pop with a touch of hip-hop and Alternative rock. I can cover a broad scale as a writer and am also very open to writing for the right artist, meaning, a serious artist who is actually talented, serious, focused, driven, and is realistic about the effort, time, and work ethic required for success. I have been in the shadows far too long waiting for a window of opportunity to take the industry by storm, I YOU NOT and if you don't have the open mind and the proper thick skin for gutting it out in this business, don't bother...just keeping it real. I am ready and am looking for like-minded serious artists, producers, managers with the proper resources and training to take not only my project, but REAL talent and GOOD music to the next level. DO YOU THINK BIG AND WORK BIG?? I've had proper media training and artist development and am primed for the next level, just need someone looking for the next big R&B pop artist. I am Italian and Irish, basically white but I am not J.T. or Robin Thicke, or Jon B. reincarnated. I have been compared to Maxwell and ElDebarge to name a couple as a vocalist and Ne-Yo as a writer but I don't see that but whatever, it is definately a welcome compliment. I respect these artists completely but I AM NOT THEM. I am Joe E. Wails and a different type of cat completely. I've sacrificed a great deal in the industry and I am looking for a place at the table with serious artists who are ready to move up and forward. I am ready to finish my album, perhaps add a few talented artist to the project to expand its dynamic if necessary. I am not greedy or ego-driven, there is enough money and attention and validation for all who are loyal to their crew and cause. I'm sure we've all been in bad situations and been taken advantage of. I won't stand for that B.S. any longer. Again, if you are REAL, GENUINE, and ready to work, I am looking for you. Let's combine talent and resources and MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
