I have been involved in the publishing industry for fifteen years. In that time I have sought to learn the highest standards of authorship and book publishing and to transfer that knowledge to my clients. After working with over fifty individual authors and three publishing houses in a variety of book production roles, I feel confident that projects coming across my desk receive the time and attention they deserve. Among the most personally fulfilling roles I have had over the years are developmental editor and ghostwriter. After working as a proofreader for two academic publishing houses and then a copyeditor for two of them, I began working with self-publishing and independent authors as a developmental editor and publishing specialist. Many of my clients claim to have a better chance of success as an independent author or publisher after working with me. In addition to accomplishments in book editing and production, I have had success as an author and ghostwriter. I have written five nonfiction books and one novel under my own name, the latter of which won third place in the Readers’ Favorite literary contest in 2011. I have completed four full-length manuscripts and added content to a half dozen others as a ghostwriter.
