You’ll soon come to realize that my skills are demonstrably superior to the average writer; from creative to legal, technical to lyrical, my mastery of the English language is unquestionably absolute. It is too few who have the capacity to appreciate the rhythmic flow of a carefully crafted sentence, and even fewer still who possess this remarkable ability to turn a few simple words into a vibrant work of art. Sadly, this gift is a curse; I can’t help but cringe at the halting, clumsy formulations found in an overwhelming majority of professional pieces today. To appease this inner turmoil, I inadvertently find myself harkening back to the classics, reminiscing the works of Charles Dickens or Mark Twain; because of course I recognize talent — do you?
