I will be a senior at a local college in the fall. I am studying English: Professional Writing, and I currently aim toward job prospects as a technical writer in Central Illinois upon graduation. By hobby I am a creative writer of fiction and occasional creative nonfiction, as well as journaling. My college studies have made me proficient in researching and interpreting texts. Additionally, I enjoy editing as a hobby and have a strong appreciation for grammar. In high school, I was editor-in-chief of the school newspaper for two years; in the IHSA Journalism sectionals I placed second in copy editing and third at the state finals. In college, my passion became helping people understand and develop their writing and ideas. For my first two years and three summers of college, I worked as a student writing consultant in a college writing center, enlightening students to their ability to create, think, and write. *Currently my rates are negotiable and will be established per client.
