Writer in Spartanburg, South Carolina

I have been writing all of my life, and recently all I want to do is write. I have a degree in biology, so my scientific writing has been pruned extensively; however, my passion is creative writing. I've been particularly interested in songwriting. I have pages and pages full of lyrics, but I don't know how to go about getting a band together. Basically I just want to write and create. To have my soul on display.
