My name is Cameron Chase. I have my B.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing. I graduated from Lewis & Clark College. I studied under the National Book Award-Winner in Poetry, Mary Szybist, for three years in small classroom settings, and completed a 20-page thesis in my senior seminar. I have years of experience writing, close-reading and fine-tuning first-rate essays and creative work, as well as advanced editorial skills - from copy-editing to substantive editing - as a board member for my school's annual publication, the Literary Review. I have also written for my school's newspaper and was nominated to attend a poetry conference at Sweet Briar College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
In addition, I have helped the marketing department for a high-end realty company, Chase International, with promotional advertisements. I write and copy-edit in a variety of genres, from commercial, to creative, to academic, and am well-acclimated to producing consistent, lucid, tasteful writing.
