Hi. My name is Lewis. I'm 24 years old. I've been playing music for quite awhile now. I've been in a few projects and bands. The first time I picked up an instrument, I was 13, as a drummer. A few years later, I had the opportunity to sing which was always my first love. So, I've had the experience to perform as a drummer as well as the frontman. For 3 years, I felt like I lost all of my self-motivation to want to play again. You know that feeling where everything feels right, then it all comes to an end. As an artist, personally the hardest thing is finding the right people. Patience, commitment, sacrifice, and passion are the most important qualities. When a band ends, you go back to the beginning all over again. I've been in those situations where people decide to focus on school full time. So after about 3 years later, I really missed playing. And ever since then, I've been playing to feel that sizzle again. There's no other ecstatic feeling then playing music, as well as therapeutic. So, that's what I'm looking for here. You know when I think back into the band's I've been in, there's been times where members have lost their relationships, loved ones, moved away, joined other bands, been in several bands, fired, quit, or simply didn't want to be there any longer. Playing music has helped me grow, but I feel like playing with others is a lot more of a connection that I feel is right. As far as styles go, I have a wide variety of what I'm into. I've been in mainly progressive rock bands, but I do not have any specifics. A few examples, Radiohead, bjork, Moby, M83, Mutemath, Boards of canada, nujabes, mahavishnu Orchestra, STS9, tool, Nirvana, Gorillaz, tycho, circa Survive, the cure, Mazzy star, my bloody valentine, Mars Volta, notorious big, queen, lorde, medeski Martin and wood, Brian eno.
