I write shorts, features, animation and virtual reality. Alex was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City. Upon graduating university, he travelled and worked in Europe and Asia for eight years. It was during his time abroad that he developed an interest in filmmaking and became involved in several narrative and documentary projects. He returned to the United States where he completed a MFA in Film and Television Production at USC School of Cinematic Arts. After doing script coverage at De Line Pictures at Warner Brothers, Alex was invited to Beijing for a year to assist the director with the story for a Chinese blockbuster that was released by Tencent last January. Alex currently lives in Los Angeles, working as a writer and director. He has been writing a virtual writing fairytale, where he designed an entire multiverse. He is also in development on his feature film, which was a finalist in the Sundance Writers Lab.
